we sing for the Saviour

the Redeemer of men

we sing for the Warrior

who conquered their sin

we shout shouts of joy now

to Jesus our King

open this gate now

that He may enter with thee

"He is the King of kings

we've known it all along

still we asked you the questions

for we do not tire of hearing your songs

so sing Him the praises

for which He deserves

oh angelic choir

sing out for the Lord"

this is the King of heaven

now He's back on His throne

having redeemed mankind

His cross called them home

now we can worship

at the Saviour's feet

proclaim His glory

for eternity

hush hush He is speaking

He's raised up His hands

He looks to His Father

to fulfill their plans

He points to the scars

where nails were driven

to the spot on His head where the thorns made their mark

He points to His side

where the spear severed His corpse

blood and water flowed fourth

He talks of redemption

to a fallen race

because of those scars 

they can join Him here someday

the angels and people

of unfallen worlds

sing now to Jesus
